Tips For Winter-time Pet Safety
Winter is here, and as we winterize our homes and turn on the furnace let's not forget "Fido"!
It is easy for us to keep warm. We can put on a sweater and bump up the thermostat a degree or two, but our furry friends don't have the ability to tell us that they are cold.
If you have an outside pet, make sure that they have shelter from the sun, wind, and snow. Make sure they have bedding in the form of straw or blackets or both.
If you feed and water your animals outside, get one of those electrical heated water bowls. Frozen water is useless when a pet is thirsty.
So enjoy the change of seasons. Keep warm. Make a snowman, but make sure you don't inadvertently make your pet theirs. Keep our fuzzy friends warm too.
