Humane Agents Save Animals in Hoarding Case

Fayette County Humane Society Humane Agents Danyel Bageant and Kris Webb removed 24 dogs, 5 cats and a bird from a home where they were confined in tiny, feces and urine filled cages.  Multiple dead cats, dogs, birds and guinea pigs were found in another house on the property.  Purebred Rescue Organization has graciously agreed to help with such a large number of animals, and the dogs will enter their program  and will receive medical care, socialization and training before they are ready for adoption, probably in 2-3  months.

Charges will be filed against the owner of the home for animal neglect.
